How the Anchrs Apple app handles data

What syncs
Study material, decks, flashcards, and related progress can sync across supported Apple devices through iCloud and CloudKit when you are signed in with the same Apple ID.
Historical Engineering Practice data
Anchrs no longer accepts new Engineering Labs or interview-practice sessions. If you previously used those features, historical lab code, checks, attempts, session transcripts, reports, selected source material, and progress metadata may remain associated with your Anchrs account so prior records are not stranded.
Analytics and crash reporting
The Anchrs app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics in TestFlight and production to understand feature usage, improve performance, and diagnose crashes. These services are part of the shipped Apple app experience today.
Website signup attribution
If you created an Anchrs account on the website, Anchrs may retain one account-linked first-touch record containing allowlisted source, medium, campaign, content label, landing path, referring site hostname, product signup origin, and capture time values. It supports aggregate signup-to-learning measurement and is not anonymous account data. The record excludes full referring URLs, raw query strings, study material, code, and session transcripts; access and deletion details are on the website privacy page.
Advertising
Anchrs does not currently show third-party ads in the app. Privacy disclosures should be reviewed against the shipped binary and SDK list before each release.
AI usage
Some practice and study features may send the relevant prompt, selected user content, and session context to cloud AI services to generate questions, feedback, or summaries. Do not add confidential material to prompts or study sources.
