Anchrs uses cookies and similar browser storage to operate signed-in features, remember limited product settings, retain first-touch acquisition context through signup, and understand how people use the website.
The first-touch context does not retain the full referring URL, raw query string, page or form contents, code, study material, or session transcripts. The account-linked copy is personal data; it is not described as anonymous. Access is limited to authorized Anchrs operators, protected backend jobs, and infrastructure providers acting on Anchrs's behalf. It is retained while the account exists and the primary record is deleted with account deletion, subject to temporary backup, security, and legal-retention copies.
In production, Anchrs uses Google Analytics on public and signed-in pages to measure traffic, navigation, and interactions. After you sign in, Anchrs may also use Hotjar to study product usability. These providers may set or read their own cookies and may receive browser or device identifiers, IP-derived location, and page or event metadata under their own privacy terms. Analytics information should not be assumed to be anonymous merely because Anchrs reviews aggregate reports.
Anchrs does not currently use cookies to show third-party advertising. If that changes, this notice and the corresponding controls will be updated before those cookies are introduced.
You can block or clear cookies in your browser. Blocking the essential session cookie can prevent sign-in and other account features from working. Browser privacy controls and provider opt-out tools may also limit analytics storage.
We may update this notice when our technology or practices change. Questions about cookies, attribution, or account deletion can be sent to torrey@anchrs.com.
